Tilly for New Statesman new magazine Charity Insight

I've been doing a monthly illustration for the fine folk over at the New Statesman for their new sister magazine Charity Insight. This is the one I did rather quickly last month and I'm currently inking up a 'LOVE' tattoo for next months.

Glynde Place Food and Drink Festival

Here is the full illustration which I spotted on some advertising the other day.

I'm going to the festival where I will snap away some good shots of handsome waiters being the canvas for my inky drawings of pigs on spits and take advantage of being able to put a deluxe food hamper on work expenses.

Glynde Place Food and Drink Festival Sneak peek

Here is a little peek at a job I finished recently for Glynde Place Food and Drink Festival, it's going to be used on T-shirts, all of the promotion and their website. It was a great and mammoth one to work on. I'll upload the full beast soon, which you should go to!

Tilly's t-shirt for Threadless. Go vote (again)!

Hey, so I have finally done a T-Shirt for Threadless, it was good timing for the 50th anniversary my Space Hoopers, seen below. Go vote for my design, it would be ace to have it printed! tar muchly.

**Update** Lots of people asked to see a closer version of the T-Shirt so I resubmitted it, so I had to start from scratch with votes, so please pop over HERE and click *5* for me again. Thanks very muchly!

Running For Crayons - Space Hoppers

Something I have been working on lately

Creative Review and a 99p with Quentin

Creative Review just ran a little quick competition on Twitter - to tell or twitpic/draw them an illustration-themed lie; mine was 'I spend the summer in Bognor with Quentin and a 99p with a flake'. It didn't win but I did only have 15 minutes, I wish this wasn't a lie I'd love to have Quentin as a chum.

Bognor and an Animal Collective

This week has been grand, lots of drawing going on - I've been working on some illo's for a rather brilliant holiday camp/resort, making me reminisce of donkey rides and floppy hot dogs.

Here's my animals all herded up together.

Running For Crayons - Matrix Creative Marketing

Here are a few of the full illustrations that I posted as sneak peeks the other week. I was asked by Matrix to do a series of illustrations for an exhibition they were doing. They were great clients to work for, after completing the 6 illustrations they commissioned me again to do a life size cut out of a couple of my characters, in the style of a pier comedy portrait - had a blast doing them all.

Running For Crayons - ABC sneak peek

Here is another sneek peek, this time it's the B I did for the ABC project. My text was about a troop of bandit baboons building the letter B, from their victims belongings.

Music Crush The Boxettes - Free

I got introduced to these super talented girls this week by a friend of mine who went to school with some of them. This tune is SO good, it makes me mega jealous, (I sound like a cat drowning) not only their amazing voices/beat boxing but check out the lush dresses!

Running For Crayons - ABC project

I am lucky to be involved in the 'abc-project' book, it has some amazing illustrators such as Big A Band, Simon Wild, Lucy Davey, Stanley Donwood and Karolin Schnoor, to name just a few and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's work together.

They have put the photo's from Creative Boom up on the news page, go have a peek, where you can see all the news and the other illustrators.

Tuesday Morning Chuckle

Ha, ha, I know it's hideous to dress up your pets but this made me chuckle and anything on a gloomy day that makes me laugh gets top marks!
