This week has been grand, lots of drawing going on - I've been working on some illo's for a rather brilliant holiday camp/resort, making me reminisce of donkey rides and floppy hot dogs.

Here's my animals all herded up together.

Running For Crayons - Matrix Creative Marketing

Here are a few of the full illustrations that I posted as sneak peeks the other week. I was asked by Matrix to do a series of illustrations for an exhibition they were doing. They were great clients to work for, after completing the 6 illustrations they commissioned me again to do a life size cut out of a couple of my characters, in the style of a pier comedy portrait - had a blast doing them all.

Here is another sneek peek, this time it's the B I did for the ABC project. My text was about a troop of bandit baboons building the letter B, from their victims belongings.

Music Crush The Boxettes - Free

I got introduced to these super talented girls this week by a friend of mine who went to school with some of them. This tune is SO good, it makes me mega jealous, (I sound like a cat drowning) not only their amazing voices/beat boxing but check out the lush dresses!

Running For Crayons - ABC project

I am lucky to be involved in the 'abc-project' book, it has some amazing illustrators such as Big A Band, Simon Wild, Lucy Davey, Stanley Donwood and Karolin Schnoor, to name just a few and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's work together.

Tuesday Morning Chuckle

Ha, ha, I know it's hideous to dress up your pets but this made me chuckle and anything on a gloomy day that makes me laugh gets top marks!

Music Crush - Angus and Julia Stone - Mango Tree

My sister suggested I listen to this band the other day and I LOVE them. The just sound perfect and really appropriate for the spring like optimism in the air. They have lots of good tunes, my other favourite is Paper Aeroplane, just brilliant.

Illustrator crush

Just been over at the ace Pikaland and been catching up on my blogging and discovered the A-M-A-Z-E illustrator Angela Fox, loving the bright colours and she seems to have a love for the bulbous round shapes for her peeps too. Go have a gander at her work here.
